Ikigai

A Japanese concept that means 'reason for being'.  Ikigai is our purpose or direction in life.  The thing that makes our lives worthwhile and the values that drive our behaviour. 

inter-personal

A domain of emotional intelligence (EQ) that relates to our relationships with other people.  It includes our ability to understand other people and respond appropriately to them.

intra-personal

A domain of emotional intelligence (EQ) that focuses upon things that occur within ourselves.  It doesn't involve our relationships with other, instead it's about how well we understand and manage our own emotions.

Intrinsic motivation

Where someone's motivated behaviour is driven by something inside themselves.  The action they are performing satisfies a need in them and feels good to them.  Thus they are motivated to repeat the behaviour. 

Issue

In project management terms an issue is an unplanned concern, query or request for change that will need management action. It is sometimes considered to be when an identified risk, becomes reality.
